MF35 Carb

rebuilt carb, tractor will start for a second, shout ether to it and it runs, take out both air and fuel jet and it will run, any ideas

sounds like the carb is still stopped up.

did you completely take it apart and soak the carb body in carb cleaner for 24 hrs?

if the motor will not idle at 400 rpm's
If the motor will not speed up under load when you give it throttle.

Then the carb is still stopped up somewhere.

the motor should stop when you take the adj screws out, not run better, that is just a indicator that the carb is still stopped up.

no expert by any streach,

i had to work on my old to-35 some bit before i got it to run like that.

first be sure the electrical is all in top condition. Just replace all points, plugs, condensor, coil
be sure all electrical parts are in top condition before starting on the carb.
