OK, not exactly quality professionalism.... but, till I have time and another cover and new bits and pieces, this worked for me.
The cover was busted and welded a long time ago, nice job, seems they had a crack that didn't go all the way across, but, they had other issues at the controls, inside .... grounded, chiseled, worn to death. I realized I need the inner lever to push the roller on the pump. I don't need the draft (draught?) at all, I have other tractors, this one need to drill holes, rototill, plain up and down motion, nothing fancy. Sticking a screw driver in the linkage did what I thought I could live with, so I put a short nut bolt and washer in that hole that seems to have no purpose. Put it all back together- hey have a tractor with loader, chainfall, beam and comealong, don't try this alone! And make sure the cahin is balancing the cover level and secure, almost had an expensive lifting accident. Anyway, 6 hours, 45 cents worth of hardware, we'll see how it goes... btw, it goes like a TO30, strong up, a few spungey spots, and down...
