i need info on how to wire dist cap iknow the fireing onmotor

Normally #1 spark plug wire goes about the 10 o'clock position, #2 plug wire goes about 2 o'clock, #3 plug wire goes about the 7 o'clock, and #4 plug wire goes about the 4 o'clock position.

not sure what tractor you have the last TO 20 was built in 1951

Remove number 1 spark plug and turn the Engine over with your finger over the plug hole. When you feel pressure on your finger (Compression) you can stop turning. Remove the Distributor cap and look at which terminal in the Cap the Rotor is pointing too, this is number one. Don't forget when wiring the HT Leads that the Distributor turns CCW (Counter Clockwise) and the firing order is 1/3/4/2....John(UK)[email protected]
