My TO-35 did not have a Tach in the dash when I got it, just the big hole.
I have since replaced the failed generator, which had been replaced before, with a new one wire 12V Alternator. How would one think, I'd put a Tach back in the TO35 and hook it up to work? Any thoughts on how to do that?

Now since you have made a mod to the original machine you can mod the tach to run off the neg side of the coil. The engine runs up to 2500rpm so you might search fleabay for a 3000 rpm tach that will fit the hole.
