Seems like like a vast majority of 40's recieved a MF style paint job early in thier life along with MF 50 decals. Must be bamboo beige was'nt very well liked. |

| Yeah, since the bamboo and green lasted? One year? Bamboo and grey 2 or 3? Red and bronze one or two? Red and grey..... 54 and still going? Sometimes I think about painting all of them Rustoleum smoke grey and sunrise red.... |

| According to some articles in the archives when the 1958 tractors got to the dealers Farmers liked the MF color combos so dealers started painting their used Ferguson equipment the same colors and they were much easier to sell with the new paint combo. |
