| Trac, two or three weeks ago my Standard Gas engine ate the governor, then the timing chain, and then bit off a chunk of the chain cover all in a matter of one nano second. I was able to find all the parts to repair it. I've probably put 10 hours on it and it is doing fine. Maybe your problem is just linkage related. Whatever it is John will help. TDF |

| Trac, you say you bet you can't get parts for it. I would like to take you up on that bet. I have been looking at the UK part of different sites such as Ebay and I am surprised how much more products they have and or make them selfs. Looking through several of their restoration projects it is completely different than here. The way I am looking at them they will buy a piece of machinery and they aren't worried if it doesn't work when they tear into it to get it working again if they can't find the part they just make a new one. Yes I know there are some of those here in the U.S. but I don't believe there is any where near as much as in the UK. Maybe I just don't hear much about them in the U.S. |
