Front center axle

Are the front center axles of the 2N, 9N"s interchangeable with the TO20 front axle?

My parts book shows that they are interchangeable, same part number for TO20, TO30, 9N, 2N and TEA20

The wife"s TO-20 has a 9N center axle in it. The difference being a few raised nibs on the top of the center axle.
