might be a good idea, just to be on the safe side. to have the hose realed out and maybe give the area around the tractor shed and hay barn as good of soaking as you can afford (water wise).you know the little (#FT^@@) are going to blow off all the fireworks tonight that they can, until they get caught, hurt or burn someone's barn/house down. these are critical dry times, we are over 22" short of water in west KY and the youth of today donot care or understand the word (no) you cannot shoot off fire works, they only think of (its what makes me happy now). If me playing with fireworks burns your tractor and tractor shed down, then so be it. The current legal system will protect me. sorry for the venting, but, just thinking about having to get out in the heat and waste the much needed water to wet down around my barns, because of the fools and their fireworks, just makes me mad. hope we do not lose any old Fergy's tonight because of ill placed fireworks. good luck and have a safe and joyfull 4th. Remember: fly your flag from any stand you can, many men died over the years so that we can have such a day to remember them as (free men) and be with our familys. also note: firearm fire safety http://news.findlaw.com/apnews/eafeea8ae86f42f0a5ff1f8038a7dd85 |

| When my barn burnt down, the insurance man bet me my next shelter would be a tarp. He was right, tarps made out of old billboard sheets. Don't burn down blow down, collapse with snow... or raise taxes... I like my tarps! I think in some western states, home fireworks is a felony if something goes... awray???? |

| Happy fourth, Maxwell and others. Two new years ago some fool let a parachute flare off at our local picnic ground near the falls , this was during the last year of a fifteen year drought, the wind carried into the pine forest and a fire burning hundreds of hectares and two farm buildings resulted. Predictably the Police did nothing , it was up to the locals to hand out retribution once he was identified. |
