El CHEAPO 2

I got elcheapo 2 home for 600 and 100 for the box/scrape plus about 140 on gas. Didn't get to hear it run but did hear it turn over smoothly. The clutch felt good and it is the 2 stage. It has the french hood and all the sheet metal is straight but that leaves the tranny and that's probably where the bargian lies!! Here are the pics and the tires are slick.

Good going 2. Well done. Now tell us... what the heck is that engine? It isn't a cont or atleast not a z134... is it? But it bolts up... to where I almost bet a Standard diesel was... or???? Factory gasoline European model? Certainly wasn't abused. I wouldn't mind have one or three of those hanging around here....

That is a great deal well done I'm jealous!
The engine looks exactly like my standard engine in a TED20, export model.

See my posting in your last topic, this looks like the British bonnet, the French bonnet has a different mounting for the MF badge. I can help you with paint colours etc, .............unless you maybe want to adopt Tony's colour scheme.............

Sam 40, I saw your pics of the 35x and hope mine turns out the same. Tony, I thought this motor was just the difference between the TO and the MF, so i'm surprised to find this is an immigrant. Have to find out when the visa runs out!! PO started out wanting 1500 and i offered just above scrap, he wanted 250 for scrape blade and then gave that to me for 100, sometimes people just get tired of it. He said only thing wrong was carb leaking, I'll keep ya'll posted.Anyone with more info on engine would be appreciated.

It is a UK Hood and it is highly unlikely that you would get a French produced tractor in the USA, as they didn't export any. There are odd ones exported, used, but It is more likely to be UK tractor with an 87mm Bore engine....John(UK)

Whaaaatt? What did I do? Certain cans of paint go on sale on certain days... and if it all comes together and makes a 'trendy agricultural fashion statement'.... hey when I have to swing onto the road... people see me and give a wide berth... maybe for more than one reason????
