My 1950 TEA-20 has come very close to starting a grass fires a few times. The automotive-style exhaust out the back is just not a great idea in the tall grass. I am thinking about turning the exhaust 180 degrees from the manifold outlet, then clamping a decent (better than stock) muffler on that points straight up. Does anyone have any suggestions or cautions? I understand Australians do this all the time; in fact, its the law, I'm told. I didn't really want to change the look of this nice old tractor, but the fire hazard is just too great. Are there other alternatives I haven't thought of? Thanks, all. Paul
