Can anyone identify this dual clutch in my to35, it's not like the one in the manual, mine has 2 belleville springs. Pic in Fig 6 #15 only shows one, where does other spring go and does it go same as other or opposite as to the convex side. First Pic is of Belleville spring, 2nd is with spring installed convex side down, and third is of clutch with release levers off an on table.

Hum. Look back in your I&T manual. I think at a certain point they made a change from one to 2 of these... boy that was a puzzle making sure this thing was exactly where it is suppose to go eh, it can fit everywhere dont it? BTW... weren't you pickin' on me for using duct tape on the pilot tool??? and you got el cheapo masking tape on yours??? oh man...

Dang Tony, that was a slip up on my part, dogged you out then STOLE your idea, don't hate me though, don't suppose you got a homemade finger adjustment tool idea i could "borrow"?

I don't remember doing much to the fingers except measuring each one with a mike, they were in spec's, so I didn't do anything. Here's all the pics I can find, hope they help... did you tear the 35 in half again??? oooooooooh. poor you.... keep out of the heat....

I even printed out those pics of yours so i'd have something to go by last time,my clutch is way different, thanks though, manual said to adj. main clutch with a new disc even if your using an old 1, hope yours is gonna be ok, i read in some old archives that fingers need to be 2 and 21/32 inches.,but did not say where to measure, I'd guess from top end of finger to the disc below on all 3. Maybe someone with that tool could give some measurements on it to copy.I'm back down to 2 tractors, just the 35 and 50 as other bro bought the to20.I'll shoot you a pic but it's butt ugly.Naw Tony, no split, that clutch just fell out the inspection hole.

2Tractors, go to http://www.agcopartsbooks.com/PARTSBOOKSN/Viewer/book.aspx?book=agco/693063 that shows the parts breakdown for the dual clutch. It shows both the Belleville springs and which way they go in. Hope this helps.

Bob Mc, thanks for the link, took me a while to find, typed in to35,then mf35, then hit browse and found the pic,and yes it's just what I needed.

It is the early Dual Clutch that was fitted to all TO35 and FE35 tractors, nothing special about it. The springs fit the opposite way to each other, the bottom one fits with the concave side down, as in your top picture. To set up the Clutch you need a NEW PTO plate, otherwise if you use a worn plate the adjustment will be wrong. Once re-set you can use the original plate if it is still serviceable. Don't try to re-set with an old plate as it won't last if you do...John
