Options to mount bracket to front axle - TO-35

I have a grape hoe I am working to mount a bracket to the front of my Ferguson To-35.

The bracket was original for the Ford series of tractors.

Looks like my bolt spacing is correct.
But I have a third bolt that is in the way.
Should I extend the bolts on mount on-top of the existing nuts to maintain the third bolt?

I have photos on my website.

And also.

just take the center bolt out all you need is two bolts.
our to-35 has only had two bolts for 50+ years and its packed many barrels of water on the front axle for a tobacco setter.

nice old tractor

what is the machine you are using?

I agree with F Hart. Remove the extra bolt. The tractors came from the factory with only two bolts. The requirement is two bolts with at least empty 1 hole between them.

Use just two bolts as long as there is at least one empty hole between them it will be fine. If it is strong enough to use a Loader it will be fine for a Hoe. Just make sure that the Pivot Pin and Bush in the axle is not worn badly or it will try to twist and bend the Radius Rods. The Radius Rods should only take the thrust and the Pivot Pin prevents the axle twisting...John
