Got the to20 back together and running, she's making a lot of noise, not sure what it is. It's not a knock but more like a rattle, Had a time getting the pan screen and filter in place, there's nothing to hold the pan in place while you insert filter so i slipped an o ring on to hold it in place, didn't have a spring either but the screen and filter were right at the bottom of opening. I used the napa filter and it looked longer than the 1 that came out. I have 30 lbs. oil pressure and it doesn't seem to vary with more rpm. Took valve cover off and had condensation after less than 15 minutes of running, oil looks fine but there's none at the top end. I took the rocker assembly completely apart prior to start up and cleaned all the gunk out but did'nt use new cork in the ends, where do you get that at. I held my fingers over the ends of rocker shaft while it was running to see if it would oil. The second pedestal from the rear had a pin to hold it in place and I'm sure it's ok.I'm guessing with that pin in place the little holes in the shaft are pointing right.Block was hot tanked so the rear hole should not be clogged, cleaned the center shaft to oil filter and made sure the little hole in it was clean. Pressure before rebuild was 20lbs, and top was oiling. I set the flywheel timing marks to 7 degrees, removed the dist. cap and positioned #1 where it was pointing, then after it would'nt crank had to move wires 180, does that mean my flywheel is 180 out?
