I comp tested and have these #s.
dry #1 125 2 125 3 125 4 130
wet #1 145 2 142 3 140 4 145
Not bad I guess. I don't know what that means exactly, but much better than my 8Ns. (%^) What do ya'll think? I'll rebuild the dist since that was the original complaint but it sat up for a "few' years before it was moved. I'll go thru the carb as well. The linkage is sticky and the wiring needs to be redone, orig start switch looked at, fluids changed, water pump replaced, gas tank cleaned up, t-stat replaced, hoses, muffler and clamp and probly something I forgot.
Any suggestions? I have minor experience with 60s-70s ovhd engines but it's been while. Thanks. I can make a list now.

When I can get an oil pressure reading, I'll have done my job for now. We'll make a decision on how far to go after that. My mission at this point is to get it to the point it'll move under it's own power.

That"s excellent compression. Very uniform. The levels are high and that maybe due to carbon deposits in the combustion chamber.
