Leveling box parts

I have a TO-35 with a bent/broken leveling box shaft/fork.

I bought a new aftermarket shaft and fork and they are way oversized for what I have.

I bought a used complete leveling box off a TO-20 tractor - this is the same size as my To-35.

Did they make different sizes for the TO-35? Mine is a 1955 and I guess would be considered an "early" serial number.

according to the parts book the TO 35 used a 14-5/8" shaft up to s/n 165749 and a 9-39/64 from s/n 165750 and up.
