I just dropped the milky hydraulic oil. I can't find a fill how except for the dipstick, and that seems too small to put in five or six gallons. Does anybody know where the hydraulic fill hole on this machine is. Thank you.

Make sure you got both drain plugs - 1 back in the hydraulic compartment and one in the transmission compartment. Both on the left hand side.
Filler hole is up on top to the left of the steering column and shifter.. probably covered in grease and grime if it's anything like mine was.

Dan, Milky usually means there is water in it. this is normal just from condensation inside the case, but the problem can be worse if the boots on your shifter are leaking. the water goes straight to the transmition. If you have to keep your tractor outside like me I would change the oil once a year at least. You will notice better preformance from your three point with fresh oil. Some guys in colder climits use 15-40 wt diesel oil and get good results as it is a bit thinner but still adiquate to protect your system. I still use the gl-1 90wt, it is a bit slow in the cold NE winter but it works. If you look through the archives "John UK" had some real good posts on trans oil. Good luck!!
