New Fuel line for my TO-35

Since I have the tank and carb off the tractor I was looking at replacing the line.

I am assuming they do not sell pre-bent lines?

I would need to get a tool to flare the end?

Are there other options aside from the old steel one?

I don't know about the TO 35 but on my TO 30 I just bought a brake line the correct size and bent it my self and the flares are already on.

Same approach for the TO35. The "run" is a little different and it is easier to do if you don'tfollow the original "run" which has some tough bends.

So I can just bend this by hand then?
Or do I need a bender?

i USE A TOOL AS BY HAND i KINK THE LINE, but Richard must have a better way to do it. Plus steel brake line is pretty stiff.

As far as the TO 30 there weren't any hard tight bends so I didn't have much problem. If you have tight turns yes I would use a bender. I must say I had to buy a 2nd brake line as the first didn't bend as I thought it should.

I like Richard use Pre-flared brake lines with the fitting on it. Get them from the auto parts store.

I bend them by hand. Just work the bend over slowly.

I have replaces them on my TO-20/TE-20 and the MF-65.

Only last word of caution I have is to make sure the fittings are on their respective ends before you start... I finished bending the line for the MF-65 when I realised both fittings were at one end... I had to un-bend it to slide the fitting to the other end then re-bend again.

The whole operation takes but 10 min.
