Lift Control Lever

Got a bit of snow today, fired up the TO30 and got ready to plow. The "fingerip" Lift Control Lever, (the lever to lift and lower the blade) was stuck. I gave a little bit more of a pull and freed it up. Unfortunately, I freed the lever into 2 pieces. It broke just above where it bolts onto the shaft. Luckily, I was able to turn the shaft with my ViseGrips (after it warmed up a bit more), and got my plowing done.

I've been looking every where for a replacement lever. I don't see one listed on this site, and if they have it, I don't know what category it's under. I don't need the whole shooting match (which I found on 1 site), I just need a replacement lever.

I need part #24 Thanks.

Kevin,

I still have the lever (item 24) which you referenced in my previous post. E-mail me if you need it. (TE20Ferguson at AOL.COM) I can fix you up and tell you how to keep the quadrant from sticking again.

As it turns out the other guy needed another part. Funny thing is I was just looking at it this morning thinking I should get it off my work bench and back on the shelves whith my other Fergie parts.

That lever and the friction disc casting is the same as a 9N/2N Ford tractor and can be bought at external_link.

I have free plans for position control. This style is easy to make or a similar one may be purchased at Red Rock Manuf.
