Looking for some bolts

Hello again.
I have a lifting implement with forks that can be attached to the 3pl (actually the 2pl) to lift a load such as a bin that a forklift might lift. The implement has 2 arms that simply bolt to the 2 link arms and extend along them to where they hook on further up. I am looking for the best way to attach them, since the bolts I have are too long or narrow.

Do I simply need to get bolts of the right thickness and length, or is there some better way of attaching this implement?

I do not quite follow you. Are you saying that the arms of this implement run parallel to the arms (the ones with the ball sockets that normally attach to an implement) and they bolt up where...

1) in front of the drag link (the verticle link, i.e. the fixed and adjustible links)
2) at the drag link connections.
3) aft of the drag links.

Do you need to drill a hole in your link arms for this implement?

Is there anyway you can post a picture?

Am I anywhere close to understanding what you have?

I am guessing that this attachment scheme is to remove the moment generated by lifting the forks. You could use "U" bolts to "Wrap" the two parts together.... but I hesitate to ponder too much as I am not clear as to what you have.

It is difficult from your description to think what you mean. Would it be possible to send a picture of the implement? Don't drill the link arms on the Tractor as it will weaken them, plus they are very, very hard. Email me a picture if you can to:- fergusontractors @ Tiscali.co.uk

Damn, I forgot to take a photo when I was there yesterday.

There is no need to drill holes in the link arms; they are already there. The holes in the implement arms attach to the holes at the end of the link arms. The implement arms also "hook" on about 18 inches up the link arms.

I guess all I need is bolts the right size, but I was wondering if anyone had a similar device and knew of a better option.
