Ballon tires on a TEA20

I am wondering if any one has heard of someone putting ballon tires or duallies on the front of their TEA20.

I have a front loader on mine and if I get into any soft soil my front wheels sink and I dig holes with my rear tires trying to get out. I have recently learned how to use the loader to push the front into the air and push the tractor backward, which usually gets me out of trouble.

However it would be nice if I did not sink so often. BTW, my rear tires are filled and I also have a weight box, this helps, but I still get bogged down.

Regards

Boyde

You might try squeezing a 16" truck tire on with wide tread. I've seen pictures. Maybe someone on the forum has done it.

The biggest standard tyre that was fitted to the TE series was 600 x 16 and that was usually good enough for most conditions. There is no reason why you shouldn't put dual wheels on the front if you wish but you could possibly bend the King Pins on severe duty, especially if a loader is attached, but it is worth trying...John
