See that shaft sticking out of the transmission? Yes the one with a cover you can remove to inspect the race. You mean this........ why are those needle bearings on the floor. How did they get into the bottom of the transmission case and what's that big washer doing down there?

If your bored you can come help me overhaul the BW 1356 transfer case that goes in behind the Allison trans that I am waiting for coming from
Florida, that goes behind the rebuilt 7.3 diesel coming from New Jersey. All of that goes on top of the Dana 60 axle getting installed under
some reverse shackles leaf springs as I convert the truck from 2WD to 4WD. Oh, and lets not forget the Eaton Elocker getting added to the
Dana or the overhaul of that entire front axle.

I won't go into the finer details of the local incompetent diesel shops that gave me 1/2 of those problems. It was just a bad time to loose
an engine and get a knee replaced. We won't speak of the trans. That is another tale of woe.
