Ferguson Post Hole Digger

Finally I got the Ferguson post hole digger attached to my TEA20.
What a pain, could somebody tell me the correct way to attach it?
Also what oil goes in it and I assume you fill it to the top of the inspection plate.

I run 85-90 wt gear oil.

Here's mine .

It can be a pain but gets easier with practice , attach the arms without the gear box to the rear long pin mount .
Lay them down out behind the tractor then attach the cross arm to both and the lower links . Then fit the gearbox to the ends .
Lift the implement using the hydraulic system and when raised fit the drive shaft . Fit the auger you need if not already attached .
There is a clever trick to transporting them , disconnect the drive shaft and by using the auger flip the entire gearbox towards the rear of the tractor and rest the auger on the top of the cross arm , there is even a clever knob for the end of the drive shaft to fit to on top of one arm . In this way you can drive for miles without the auger bashing into the ground and still allow the hydraulics to keep the arms raised .

Nice to hear from you again Tony , I thought you had dropped off the face of the earth so I thought I'd sink a hole and see if you were on the other end of it .

These post holers are amazing , the TED20 was idling at just under 400 rpm when it sank this hole . Three feet in under a minute , no strain no shuddering .

A kid's swing set? A STRONG swing set, for heavy kids... yeah heaps of these fergie implements do not qualify for quick and easy 3 point hitch. Like the FEO 5 point wallow in the dirt mowers.
Any oil is better than no oil. Depends on the weather where you are at mostly. The colder the lighter... you are sub tropical aren't you? So the 90 Miner mentioned should do.
Go super slow, pop back up every couple seconds, and prepare to stop in a half second, a root, a pipe (God Forbid a gas line) and you are as stuck as you can get, and there are threads and threads on how to get 'unstuck'. Good luck and be careful!
