Learn simple trouble shooting. #1 go out and run I till it dies. The moment it dies jump off and check that you have a good blue/white at the center wire of the distributor cap and at all 4 plugs that will jump a 1/4 inch gap or more.
#2 pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes. Post back what you find. But I will almost bet you have a fuel problem due to running out and have some junk in the sediment bowl or some such place

So I pulled the sediment bowl, dumped it and put it back on. When I opened the bowl up, it barely dropped any gas. So you were right, when it ran empty, it must of sucked some junk in there. Do you know of a way to clear that blockage?

If you dumped the sediment bowl and put it back in and tighten it up if did just as it should have done. 2 things cannot be in the same place at the same time. What is going on in this case is the sediment bowl is full of air and the carb is full of gas so the float needle is closed so no gas can get into the sediment bowl because it is full of air. Do as I said pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas that will fill a pint jar in less then 3 minutes.

I understand that about the sed bowl. But, it’s also barely dripping gas with the sed bowl not even on. So it’s not getting the fuel from the tank to the carb.

Turn the gas off, the TAKETHE LINE LOOSE AT THE CARB. Then take the gas cap off and if you have a compressor blow air into the line which will then blow what eve junk that is causing the problem out of the line and sediment bowl. Yes in the future it may cause a problem again but many times it takes a long to time to do so. If you do not have a compressor you can put a plastic fuel line on the line and blow threw it to clear it also. BTDT to many times and gas sure does not taste good. LOL

Took the air compressor to it and now it flows good. Now I just need to get a new gasket for the sed bowl.

If you have a local O'Reilly's the fuel strainer gasket is part #398. That is what they called a sediment bowl. I keep 2 or 3 on hand all the time. When I buy them I buy every one they have
