Just wondering do others of you include an inline fuel filter after the glass fuel bowl which has its own gauze.
Thanks

Many do especially if the tank is suspect . Use a filter designed for a motor bike or ride on mower with no fuel pump . Otherwise it might not let enough fuel through .

You can, but you want a screen type, not pleated paper.

I will caution against the screw together glass cylinder type. Had nothing but trouble with them, leak and restrict flow. Keep everything as far from the exhaust as possible and still maintain down hill flow. Steel brake line is better than copper. Copper conducts heat, and prone to crack.

I would save the original line if it's still good, just in case the filter causes problems.

Most of the time an inline filter will cause more trouble then they ever fix. Most inline filters are made for a system that has a pump and tractor most of the time do not have a pump so lack of pressure causes odd problems. I bet I have removed more the n30 of them on tractor and doing so fixed the guys problem. If the sediment bowl has the correct screen that is all you need. Shoot even the U.S. Navy uses the sediment bowl type filter system on there sub to clean the compressed air they use on them

I have run an in-line fuel filter on my TO35 for years,
But as others have mentioned, you must ask the auto parts dealer for a (free flow) metal inline filter,

Using the inline filter I have had few fuel related problems,
Using transfer fuel tanks or containers you have many opportunities to get water dirt rust whatever into the fuel tanks

These old tractor fuel tanks are 50-60 years old and most have some rust inside,
