Z134 cracked block repair

I posted this on the MF forum also. Z134 engine with the infamous cracks between 2/3 and 3/4.
Cracks in lower webbing where the bottom off the cylinder sleeve seals. No cracks on top deck.
I have read about the tension bar fix, but have never seen it. Anyone have pics they can post of placement of the rods? Also, how was the hole sealed?
I know the true fix is a replacement block, but $700+ is not gonna happen. Somebody help out this cheapskate or it's gonna have to become scrap iron.

I have had three blocks repaired by a Massey Ferguson dealer for $250 each. The repair was three holes drilled from the filter side sized for
the bolt and tapped on the distributor side to accommodate them. When I put the engines together I run radiator sealant just to ensure no
leaks.

I just sold a tractor that was pinned. As I remember, bolt goes through block top and bottom between the cylinders, side to side.
Thread lock on the bolts where the nut goes on, once that is done, a can of KR(?) Block seal should seal it just fine. Use Prestone anti-
freeze. Not the cheap stuff. Ask me how I know THAT one.

I had a Z129 that had the original engine with tension rods and the racks were visible on the block deck. I don"t have any pictures but holes were drilled between the liners about 1.5 inches below the deck and the tension rods were placed in the holes and tightened a. They were locked down with jam nuts.
Sorry I can be of more help. I replaced mine with a furnace brazed re-manufactured engine and that never gave me any trouble. I sold the TO-30 in January, 2018 with hot or cold, any rpm, 27 psi oil pressure.

There are at least 2 posts on Smokstak about this.
Do a search for this "Bolting a cracked Z120 block"
There is or was a post with photos on this site but I could not find it.

Local machine shop recommended a welding shop about 30 min away that has experience in welding Continental blocks. Gonna give them a try and will report in on how it goes.

These are pictures of what i did on my TO-20 block, and it is holding 6 years later.I used copper washers under the bolt heads/nuts. I also drilled all the way through the push rod gallery and installed pipe
plugs external to the block to have access to inspect or tighten at a later date.

Fordman 66 (love that BTW) -- please include the most important picture -- the one top of block down (showing more please) that just between liners -- into push rod galley.
Thank you - my dad had a burgandy 66 galaxy / 289 -- some think the best looking ford ever!
