Marvel Schebler copy

My 1954 Tea 20 has a newish non original Marvel Schebler carburettor on it and I think I may have a fuel blockage at the 90 degree elbow which apparently has a filter in there where the fuel line attaches. The original Schebler carburettor has the 90 degree elbow which can be unscrewed but my copy is not screwed in but I believe it may be pushed in with an O ring holding it in place and it can be rotated with out unscrewing. I don't want to force it out as I know I will probably break it. Does anyone know how to remove this elbow safely?
Many thanks
Brad

I've never tried to get one out, but I'm like you, it will probably break or leak if forced.

Might be better to open up the carb and backflush and blow it from the needle/seat side.

Thanks for that advice Steve, that is what I plan to do this week end.
