TEA20 OIL PAN

Hello - I am first time visitor. I have a 48 TEA20. Love the tractor, tough to find parts though. My oil pan continues to seep oil through the metal. Thought I found a good used pan but was sent something that was not for the TEA20. Can anyone help with finding a good oil pan?

The TEA20 , Standard Engine Ferguson had an alloy sump made from ' Electron ' . This is an Aluminium / Magnesium alloy that is essentially melted down Spitfire fighter aircraft and domestic pots and pan scrap all left over from the war effort .
It suffers a lot from electrolysis and this is probably why your sump is weeping . It might be wise to check the gearbox casting and bell housing as well .
Otherwise if it is just porous and not crumbling use a fuel tank sealer something like this

It should stop anything leaking out and as the sump is open topped it should be an easy job to do it well .
