I?m in the middle of replacing the siamese gaskets based on my
previous post. I?ve got the engine removed and in the stand and I?ve
removed the first piston. But I?m really struggling on how to remove
the sleeves. I can makeshift a puller, but I can?t find a perfect blank
for the bottom. Once it moves, will it come out easy? In other words,
does the blank need to be round and slide up the shaft or can I use a
flat blank that would stop at the block? Any suggestions on how its
best to get the sleeves out? Or on what I can use for the bottom
blank? Am I being too worried and can I just wack them with a flat pry
bar and a hammer?
