TO 30 runs like a sewing machine

I was resigned to the fact my Ferguson would always have a putt putt idle until tonight.I adjusted the valves last fall and since then when I would try to start it the engine turned over erratically, not smooth at all. But it would turn over fine with no problems when the ignition switch was off.So I had a hunch the timing could be off and it was! Now it barely turns over before it starts and it idles perfectly.

Good deal!

A smooth idling engine is one of the best indicators of a healthy engine.

Not sure what their secret is, but the Ferguson's are notoriously easy starters. Get everything right and they will crank with just a touch of the starter!
