Generator for a 1958 TO-35 23C diesel

Possible a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway. I have no shame :)

I need a generator for my 58 TO-35 diesel. I got it with an alternator, and want it to look correct since I am restoring it to as close to factory as possible.
Anyone know if the 23C diesel used a physically different generator than a gas engine? The diesel is a 12 Volt. I realize that gassers used 6V until later years. I'd be willing to go with a 6V generator and have it re-coiled to a 12V if I can get the correct look. I also have a '54 TO-30. Any chance that generator "looks" like the TO-35 diesel version?

TIA

Here are some generator numbers, however I can not guarantee these are correct numbers for these years. Hopefully others that may have a 1958 TO35 diesel will let you know what the correct Gen. number is if they know it is correct.

Generators for the TO 35
1957 TO35 and MH50 used 1100998.
1958 early TO35 1101005
1958 late TO35 1100363 These do not tell if it is Diesel so I would guess not.

My parts book shows 9 different gennys, 7 for gas and 2 for diesel. Only different I see in the 2 diesel are one ventilated and one solid and book didn't list by tractor serial# of tractor. Delco Remy Service replacement (never used in production) as Delco Remy
number 1947579 and does not say if for gas or diesel. The book pictures show appearance to be same on all 9 of them but the 2 diesel used 2 different mounting brackets. The diesel #s 185-984-M91 Special models and 185-983 M91 Standard models. Also shows 12 volt Delco Remy #100435 with Ferguson 193 516 M91

I've decided that the T030 generator is going to be installed on my diesel. Seems like the best choice, since I already have it. Even if I find an "original" diesel unit, I'd rebuild it anyway.

The TO30 used a Delco 1100529 - a 6 Volt. Looks like 1100353, 1100359, 1100362 are 12 volt generators. Does anyone know if the 12 volt field coils from any of these units will fit the 1100529 case? Seems like they are all very similar.....

I regret to inform... the original 'dynamo' was a Lucas... finding another that even fits properly, never mind looks correct, will be a great undertaking... I believe it charged two 6 volt batteries, one on the left axle trumpet.... this all reminds me we haven't seen PCP on here in quite awhile...

A company in England sells the Lucas for about $75 - but not sure if it correctly resembles the original.

I'll go with the Delco - at least for now - considering how many of these 23C's are around, I doubt if anyone will notice.

Finding a rebuild kit for these Delco's is quite a challenge. I may have to resort to my local auto-electric for some overpriced parts....

$75? The last Lucas I saw for sale, was closer to 275. And no guarantee it even worked. I guess there was never an assumption any would ever work for long.

If you are looking for a Lucas , i think this might be correct.

My old Wilson book says this Dynamo for 12 volt Fergy 1951 thru 1963, gas or diesel.
IH used same # on B250,B275,BTD640,BTD8,B450. Lucas# 22259.
