I want to order up tune up parts, i have all the NAPA numbers, but i usually use one of the other auto discounters near my house. How can i figure out what part numbers they will use. Thankls

In my area I have 2 auto parts stores. 1 is O'Reilly's which I use a lot and they can look up the parts just by knowing what tractor you have. I have not replace a condenser in over a decade because now days you stand a 50/50 chance the new condenser will be bad right out of the box.
The other auto parts tore we have in ton is auto zone which is run by a bunch or clueless clowns so I buy nothing there since last time I went in for something they did not even know what I was asking for.

I also only buy KGK spark plugs any more because the champs and auto lite plug do not hold up as well as the NGKs do

I use NGK in all my cars and bikes, was gonna stick with the Champ D21 just because i'm new to tractors, but if NGK works i'll use them. Know p/n offhand? Thansks

Not sure if your Ferguson uses the same plug a the Ford do but good chance it does and if so I use the NGK3112. If it has auto lite 437 or Champ H10 or 12 the NGK3112 is correct

don't think autolite 437's will work in your ferguson. I use autolite 386. if I am wrong hopefully someone will correct me.

My old tractors and small engines run just fine using Champion spark plugs. So does my Model A Ford. Don't know the last time I had to replace spark plugs in anything.

If your tractor is running fine why change anything? I hate changing parts just for the sake of changing them.

Well if the plugs are old that is why they still work plain and simple. The new champs and auto lite do not hold up like they once did

My proof in in the running of my machines and the auto lite and champs have not help up as well as the NGK no better proof then using them

I agree with you on that. I have an Oliver S88 that I have had for 10 plus years and have not changed a plug let alone the points and it starts so fast you cannot get your hand off the starter button fast enough 99% of the time

Maybe I need NGK plugs for my Case. I put new AC Delco plugs in it last year. It still spits and spuders till it warms up and then it runs fine. Before the AC plugs I had Champions. The tractor ran good till last year.

Maybe they would help. I have a WD45 that would foul the plugs out with champs or auto lite but has not fouled the NGKs I put in. Did not get 2 months out of the champs or auto lite but the NGK have been in for over year with no problems

i do truly believe engines may be as fussy about plugs as guns are with ammo. i run autolite 386's in my Fergusons and they seem to run fine with them but then again they ran fine with champions too.
