I'm having to replace the radiator in my TO30 - - I'm wondering what to look for in replacement radiators? The one from this site is a less expensive unit than is seen in many places, is it a compromise with less tubes/fins or something? Will I find some new replacement radiators made out of AL instead of copper? What about interchange between the N Fords and Ferguson? It appears that some replacement radiators are specified for both Ford and Ferguson applications. And what is up with the sculptured tank on so many (but not all) aftermarket models? The right side of the top is reduced to clear something on some models?

I knew when I got started on this overhaul there would be no place to stop...

thanks -
David

I?ve bought radiators from this site as well as eBay. They are all about the same reproduction style radiators usually less than $200. I just had
my original TO35 radiator repaired at a real radiator shop, not cheap, but it is an original and I wanted to keep it. The fords are similar but may
not be for the TO30

Smart move! Wish I had done that.

Bought a Chinese radiator (not from this site) for the TO35. It didn't fit, took a lot of modification to make it fit.

Should have had the original fixed. I still have it, one of these days it will go back on.

I had the local radiator shop evaluate my current unit, which is not original to the tractor but might be OEM, and he didn't want to deal with it, multiple problems and he's semi-retired and not looking for a challenge -

dunno - I'd like to slide a new OEM unit into position, but I'm not sure such an item exists - I read about people having to cut the fan shroud to make it fit on replacement radiators and I don't have a good handle on whether there are multiple replacement manufacturers or if all these new replacement radiators are all coming from the same chinese factory and it's just a matter of finding the cheapest price -

the next closest radiator shop is most of an hour away, it'll take half a day to fuss, but I may do it -

thanks - David
