We have a similar model available here . If you are[u:8666d9c93f] very[/u:8666d9c93f] fortunate the special plough spanner might still be with it . They are about 18 inches long and were originally supplied wrapped in hessian stuffed inside the long tube behind the domed end cap .
Prices these ploughs sell for here would make your eyes water .

I've never found a wrench in any I have bought. There is a 22 also with longer tail
wheel and a inch longer between the disk. I have the 3 bottom but don't remember the
number. I gave $300 to 350 for the ones I have.I sold one to Tony and he love's it.
They are hard to set but when it is set right it plows great. May he will post his
pictures.

Been looking for a cheap one and prices on the cheap side are 375 going up to 550 and they look to be in way better shape than that one. Sorry

as much as I'd like to have it really is of no use to me except as a conversation piece. 300 would be my max. 250 would suit me better.

Boy ain't that a fact Richard! The only thing Miner gives for free is advice on what brand of beers is on sale.
Steve, offer him whatever a plain plow goes for near you. $250-350? Neither one of you lose.
Yes, adjusted for the tractor- and dirt, and it will certainly plow... not the neatest looking furrows around, but that's not the idea of these ones. It will go over rocks and stumps... and lift the curl about 2 feet straight up- then lets it drop- and crumble. So the rows and furrows look a mess, but you get some serious plowing done on fresh or rough ground. I guess it was designed to only go an inch deep in dry soils, but it can do other jobs too. You may not 'need' it, but buy it anyway.
This is now a MacBook, so the pictures- and short video I took a few years ago are -somewhere- on a disc or sd card. I'll see what I can do tonight. I got some Canadian looking weather to deal with first... you do too i see?

i think i remember reading in one of my Ferguson books the disc plow was designed for sandy soil ??? especially in the Mid East (land of A-rabs) and Jersey.

Steve. I think for the old plow to work right you will need, at some point to replace that rear guide disc blade,
many of these old plows when to the fence row when that rear disc blade worn down making it very hard to guide the old plow, it would not hold against the furrow and the plow disc blades would push the plow sideways.

that rear guide disc must have enough blade depth to be able to bite into the furrow and hold the plow straight, at least that has been my experience using a Ferguson disc plow.
