Hydraulic control lever stop

Hi was lucky enough to be given this but have no idea how it works the picture in the manual is not detailed or clear enough, does anyone have a pic they can send me that will make it clear as to how it fits.

Lucky is an under statement , one recently sold for well over $200Aus just recently . :shock:
It is supposed to stop you using the lift if you have the rigid lift stays fitted , to ensure you don't bend them like bananas or damage the pump . One end is bolted to the end of the rhs stay the other tucks under the lift lever to stop it moving .

It's connected to the stay bars. The other side of the chain is connected to the 3pt quadrant above the lever so you can't raise the lever by mistake. If you do you will bend the stay bars. Many a stay bars have been bent this way. Here's a couple of photos of the one on my '39 9n.
