Z134 Con rods oil channel

Many engines I have worked on the con rods have an oil channel so that oil passes from the gallery into the crank, out of the crank to the rod journal but also up the rod to the wrist pin.

I do not see that channel in the rods just out of my 134. How does the wrist pin get lubricated?

It's a mist lubrication. Just like Chev and Nash engines of the 40's and early 50s.
Think of how a 2 cycle engine is lubricated. Doesn't take much.

The rods are not drilled for oil to the pin bushings. About the only engines that have the drilling are turbocharged diesels. Even some naturally aspirated diesel rods are not drilled, but do have a feed hole in top of the rod.
