TO-35 vs TO-35 Deluxe

I believe if you will read this it will help a lot. No that was not the only difference because as you will find out (if you read this) you could have ordered a Deluxe with a single stage clutch and you also could have ordered a Deluxe without a tractormeter.
Deluxe 35

Thanks!

I did read that before posting (believe it or don't) and thats what led me to ask... it also looks to em as though there was a difference in live hydraulics versus clutch-dependent hydraulics.

I think all deluxe's had power steering.

It was not a dealer option, the engine block is different. Pump mounts directly to the engine, drives off the cam gear.

I believe my tractor is a TO-35 deluxe, but not sure
SMG 174616 1957 model

duel clutch, gas, spin out rear wheels, no power steering, deluxe seat with back
came with 3-12" plows,

was cream color with gray body, I repainted it red in later years.
I understand the light duty front bumper was a dealer install item.

on the 134 block there is a plate that covers the hole where the PS pump mounts. early blocks were not made for a power steering option. i thought pwr steering was a dealer option as a light kit was.

well if it is a SGM it is a delux. looks like you have a plate where the pwr steering pump would be mounted.

I've got a 35 deluxe that has never had lights and no PS. Plugs on side pieces still in place. Have a F40 that also has the plug's and front lights are on the fender's near front of fender's. I was told they were always dealer mounted.
