Ferguson 135 Multipower, split transmisson problem

I'm trying to split transmission from rear axle house. I's impossible, i have tried without too much violence. My question is, must I remove Hydralic Lift Cover first?

Perhaps anybody have a good link where I can learn how to do. I have a Workshop Manual but it's not enough :(

I hope some have the information I need to succeed :)

There is a hydraulic hose that has to be disconnected before it can be split. The hose connects the pump to the multi power clutch at the front of the transmission. I had the shift cover/steering box off of my MF35 and could easily access the hose to disconnect it before it was split.
I am not sure if the hose can be disconnected without taking the steering box off.

You will probably get more response over on the Massey Ferguson part of this forum. I don't believe any of the Ferguson tractors had multi power.
