Been rebuilding my '48 te20 for the past year or 2. finally at the point where all the parts are coming back together. Looking for tips or tricks to get the hydraulic/tranny top plate back together, while getting that little lever at the bottom into the correct place? My hands dont quite fit in there well....
also a little word of warning- when i took the top plate off (where the seat mounts) the gasket looked suspicious so i took a sample to work to get tested- proved to be 50-75% asbestos! So that was fun trying to remove the partially torn and unusable gasket off without contaminating the rest of the shop.
