noise in rear axle

After getting the TEA 20 back from the mechanic who replaced the fork for the 1 and 2 gear I have developed a noise which sound like it is coming from the rear axle. It is louder in reverse that in forward gears. It runs well and the 3 pt works wellbut the noise is bothersome. Anyone have any ideas what this might be from?

With Tractor in gear and moving......with your hand on the gear shifter ......any signs of vibration, movement, noise emanating up gear shift?

Are rear brakes dragging or partially applied?

Any change in NOISE when PTO is engaged?......disengaged?

No vibration in gear shift, brakes not on and no change in noise with PTO on. The only change is the noise is decreased with a increased RPMs
