wheel setting question TO35

when setting up to plow with a TO35 tractor,
do you set the inside of the front tire straight with the inside of the rear wheel,

I have my front tires set one notch or bolt hole out, so the inside of the front tire is about 2" farther out than the inside of the rear tire.

I see videos of tractors plowing and sometimes it appears the tractor is trying to crawl out of the furrow.

any thoughts on tires width settings?

If it were mine, I would leave it where it is and learn where to position the front wheel in the furrow.

I skimmed through an old Ford 3 point plow manual. There are several pages concerning plow adjustment but no mention of tractor wheel positions.

I run my front tires on the same center setting as my rear tires. Example, if the rear tires are set on 56 inches center to center then my front tires would be 56 inches center to center. This works well for me and I don?t have any problems plowing.

I always set my front wheels so that the inside of the wheels were even. I think yours would work the way they are. I think when the fronts are centered with the rears the fronts look really wide.

Thanks to all for your reply,
No more plowing than I do, small garden plots, I think I will just leave the front tires as they are for now,

Me too. If it works, don't fix it.
I finally found the book i been looking for, and it doesn't mention front wheels at all. But as long as it is in the furrow, and if the plow is turning the slice into the furrow behind the rear tire.... I guess it is plowing the way it is suppose to... so yeah... Murphy's law sez don't change nothing!
