The guys are right, it is a Ford/Dearborn. That was our first plow. I still got it.
You already got a Ferguson 2 bottom don't you? You don't need more plows... you need less rocks...

It is a Dearborn Economy Model Plow. What is the Model Number on the ID Tag? Serial number really means nothing, only that particular model's production number. Model No. 10-151 = 10" Plow; 10-152 = 12" Plow; and 10-156 = 14" plow. Many other combos were built and carried different model numbers based on which shares it had. In 1955 Dearborn was absorbed by FoMoCo under Ford Tractor & Implement Division and all Dearborn and Ford Economy Plows were painted Ford Vermillion (8N) Red. Don't let the blue paint fool you, the Ford Empire Blue wasn't introduced until 1962 and by then the Economy Plows were discontinued, giving way to the 101 Series. There is good news and bad news about the old Dearborn/Ford Economy Plows. The bad news is they no longer service the 10" and 12" models, meaning parts are no longer available. The good news is you can still get wear parts for the 14" and 16" models. This plow does not have the coulters and jointers, but then they were only options when new. Plus, you do not need them to plow with. It does have the essential rolling landside (tailwheel) and that is a must to use the plow. I can't tell for sure but someone mentioned it has no shares/points -not good. If no points, it is worthless. Check the thickness of the moldboard at the far left end where the soil scours over, see how thin it is compared to the front of the moldboard lip at the top. That will tell you how much wear is on it. Too thin means it has been used lot and ain't gonna last long. 14" and 16" moldboards are available, but consider how much you want to invest. Prices go about $115 for a Ford 14" Moldboard and about $20 for a share/point. Try CT Farm & Country for parts...
