Yes,
May not plow as deep and in certain ground leave the ground rougher,
But for me, that is good, as I want the ground to freeze this winter, it will break all to pieces next spring when I disc it down to plant early sweet corn,

Also the disc plow does not plug up for me as much as my 12" Ferguson plows, in corn stalks,

Someday I would like to buy a set of two16" plows as they have a much greater throat area,

Ya get more 'seat time' with a one bottom. I prefer that anyway, more time to see what I'm dong wrong, and learn how to correct it. And then enjoy watching when I got it all just right. So many people with a small plot got a 3 or 4 bottom are done before they realize they did it all wrong. Better luck next year!
I was told our disc plows were to just take off a couple inches of dry, and there is no mess there. When we dig deep, and raise up a 2 foot roll, yeah we got down there all right, but harrowing that back flat is why they invented chiropractors. But yeah i like the disc, my boss wants it plowed deep as possible, and as you look back, know you got something done.

Tony, attached is a picture of the garden truck patch after it was plowed with the MF 64 disc plow,
plow turned over the ground well and only plugged up once.

I was very satisfied with it performance.

TO35 pulled it easy no problems, but as you said it does not plow as deep as a set of 2x16" plows.

at least I was not kicking and banging trying to unplug the plow all the time.

Pretty impressive job there.
I 'think' my disc plow/ plows? cause i got 2, originally came from Kentucky, seems there was a lot of them sold there, so they must work well in your dirt. Miner might know a bit more about these things.
An old friend, now gone, who's dad bought a TO20 brand new in 1950, wanted to try the disc plow in his patch. We got it all set up, adjusted pretty good, and he did 2 rows. I asked why he stopped. He said 'I just always wanted to try one. Now I just tried yours here. And now after all these years... I know I don't care for it. So now I am OK with myself for never buying one'. Not for everyone I guess.
