TO 35 Hyd Lever Issue

I have a 59 TO 35. All of a sudden the the hyd levers started working in reverse. The round knob lever will do nothing up or down, and the square knob lever is working in reverse. When you put handle down the 3ph raises, pull it up and 3ph lowers. Anyone had this issue.

Can't say I.ve ever had them work backward...

Try putting the square (draft control) in the middle, between the dots.

Take the right cover off, look at the levers. Both should be in front of the roller on top of the valve lever.

Move the position control lever and watch the rods that move the valve lever. As you push the lever to the down position, the valve control roller should push to the rear. It won't move much, so watch carefully.

If that is not happening, sounds like something has come loose in the lever system up under the top cover. Especially if this happened on it's own without anything else being done. The roller should be lightly spring loaded against the back side of the levers. You can push it to the side and operate the lift manually, just be careful not to over travel it up.

That is a fairly complex system, a shop manual explains it better than I can here.
