Pretty sure what it is, was it factory or farmerized?

This came with the TO30 I bought the other day. I'm pretty sure its a chain top link. I read some of the archive post and other sites that have about a 50/50 they are good or bad.

Was this one from Ferguson? Or from implement manufacturer? Or just something someone made? Pretty well built, I tried it pulling a disc and nothing bad happened.

Just my opinion that was farmerized as a company would not order threaded U bolts then weld on them.

My two cents it is homemade. Be very careful using a chain as a third link. Certain implements can flip up and whack you...

Thanks, looking at it I agree it's homemade. I also understand about the risk involved in using it. Read some quite lengthy post about this type of link.

My thought is with the disc it's ok, something that is not digging in the ground and can catch, just floating on the top of the ground. I'm pretty slow too. I'm not in a hurry now days so I'm pretty observant.
