Tried to put new fan belt on yesterday only to discover I couldn't get belt over crank pulley.
It appears the front axle pivot pin bushing has worked itself out (back) toward the engine. It is not touching the crank nut (with the starter notches) but it is so close to it I can't get the belt through there.
Has anybody seen this happen before ??
Is there any other solution than to take off the front axle and tap the bushing back toward the front. (or the just replace the pin and bushing) ??
Related question... I was looking thru the Ferguson parts manual and it indicated the TO20 required TWO of those bushings. Is that right ??
