I have a 1955 35 that isn't getting fuel. It ran in June. The tank doesn't look bad, I put fresh gas in. I went to clean out the sediment bowl and it seemed to be half full with like a blue or gray clay. While I was cleaning the bowl I opened the valve and gas came out. I took the line off the carb and gas had run out of the line (whatever was in it), it was clean. I took the drain plug out of the carb, nothing came out. I reassembled the sediment bowl (I didn't see any screen in it) and opened the valve, nothing. No gas. I loosened the nut on the sediment bowl and the bowl would fill and over flow, but nothing goes to the carb. I'm wondering if it's a issue with the sediment bowl? If it is, I'd really like to fix it as it is a original HF. I assumed the line was clear as there was gas in the line when I removed it from the carb. Also, the carb filter was spotless. Ideas or thoughts?
