TO 35 fuel line

Can anyone tell me where I can get a replacement steel fuel line for a 1955 gas Z134 TO35? I'd like to keep it as original as possible. The original fuel line was missing when I bought the tractor and I have no idea about the correct routing of the line.

Most use brake line. NAPA is good source. You would need to bend to the fit and flare ends with nuts of course. I don't know diameter offhand, but someone will chime in on that. As for how to bend it, best way would be to have another for a guide. I know this is an incomplete answer, but maybe will help steer you in the direction and others will help.

Routing From the fuel tank, behind the valve cover then make the bend towards the carburetor. If you take a coat hanger you can make that your template and bring to parts store for the correct length brake line. While there pick up a hand held tubing bender. Practice the bender on another piece of hanger or wire.

The coat hanger idea as a template is a great idea. I'd already bought a steel brake line but didn't know the best way to route it to keep it as far away from the exhaust as possible. I've got a flarring tool and bender in the shop so I'll just form the line in my shop. Thanks for the suggestion.

I would try to keep the factory flares if at all possible.

Unless you are better at flaring than I am, the machine made flares are much better than a hand tool.
