Hi everyone,
Just stepped over from the MF forum. I'm seeking any information on
the whereabouts of a 1948 Banner Lane, UK made TEA20 with the
Glamorgan registration HTG 204. We owned the tractor from 1955 to
1972 when we changed to a 3-cyl 35. The TEA was sold in a Carmarthen
farm sale in 1972. I would very much like to know if it is still
alive or if anyone has any info on it it would be VERY much
appreciated.
Similarly for the following;
1967 MF 165 KVJ 987F
1961 MF 35 671 AKG
Thanks in advance

ivor from mid wales here
it is possible the auctioneers who carried out auction in 1972 still have records or you could try the archive department at council

Hello, thanks for your reply. i would not have the nerve to ask the auctioneers to look that far back even if I could remember who they were. In some circumstances the DVLA will release this information on payment of the appropriate fee. I have done this but being a nostalgic ex-owner is insufficient grounds for the release of information. I doubt that the council could help as I have no information as to the farm sale etc.
Cheers

Blimey David! Your dad was upgrading in 1972? Cripes!! that when our horse died! I don't want to know where he went...
Where is that group of sheds Sam posted pics of a couple years ago? Not far from you- Wiltshire? Devon? he has 100's of fergies.... an old fellow like that might come up with a good lead...

HA! I would go down to the DVLA with a box of cookies or something and plead my case to the sweetest face I could find. If nothing else, I might be out the cost of a box of cookies. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Cheers!
