I use shell rotella 15w40 in my TO35 Ferguson
Runs good and holds good oil pressure
I have been told this diesel oil still has the zinc additive that all motor oils used to have but it has been taken out of regular car oils,

Zinc is suspose to help reduce wear,

If it's good enough for my dodge diesel truck it good enough for my old tractor

Heavy duty grade oil has the zinc in it that is used to keep flat tappet cams alive. Energy conserving oil does
not contain zinc and will drain off and leave no protective film behind. Zinc also will kill the cat in your
vehicle if you use it in your cat equipped car. Diesel grade motor oil is generally a heavy duty oil and does
contain zinc to keep the cam alive long term. As for Shell....I know that the other than 15/40 is some real
stinky garbage that chunks up and comes out in blobs. I use to work a Shell service station back in the day and
did many oil changes. The station owner changed brands and same cars came in with same owners and no more stinky
chunk oil when draining. I run Chevron or Mobil 15/40. But like I said, some people love that Rotella stuff.
I have had enough Shell gas and oil in my life.

I run 15W-40 Delvac in everything, might want to go 10W-30 if has to start cold in the winter.
