I'm not sure about the parts fitting, there were a lot of different pump configurations over the years.
But several years ago I went through the pump on the '60 TO35. Bought the repair kit, tried to put it together, every time I tightened the bolts, the pump locked up!
Found out the aftermarket parts were machined wrong. But, having access to a surface grinder, after several hours of grinding, measuring, assembling, I finally got it to work.
Unless you have access to the equipment, and are willing to go through the fitting process, my suggestion would be to buy the assembled pump. Cost more, but less hassle.
